Pottery Workshop
Visitors could drop in on Eastnor Pottery & The Flying Potter and create a mini clay trug full of cartoon fruit or veg, carnivorous carrots or adorable apples – anything goes! Visitors could also take their masterpiece away on the day to paint at home.
Severn Trent
Severn Trent brought their Digibus and Experibus.
The Digibus: This vehicle provides an immersive digital experience. Visitors can pop on some virtual reality glasses and enter a world where they can track a raindrop from the sky, through the water treatment process, to the home, back through the sewers and the waste treatment process to the river. They can also play our very own quiz show about water around the world.
The Experibus: Visitors can step into the role of a water worker, imagine themselves as a scientist, an engineer, a call centre operative and much more to learn what it’s like to work in the water industry. Here visitors can play games like ‘flush it or bin it’ and learn more about how to save water.
Lets Waste Less
Lets Waste Less brought games and activities, as well as a new food waste interactive display. Visitors could learn all about composting and the creatures involved and the benefit to the soil, and understand the principle of food being a resource that shouldn’t be wasted.
