Three Counties picked up two awards at the annual Visit Worcestershire Awards for Excellence.
Held at Eastnor Castle and hosted by Mike Ashton, Chief Executive at Herefordshire and Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce, the awards celebrate the very best in tourism in the Worcestershire.
RHS Malvern Spring Festival, a joint venture between the Three Counties and Royal Horticultural Society, picked up first place, for the second year in a row, in the category for Best Festival (Commercial). In the category for Best Conference Venue, the Three Counties Centre was awarded highly commended.
Ken Nottage, CEO of Three Counties said: “We are extremely proud to have been recognised not once but twice in these prestigious awards. It is a testament to the team’s hard work and tireless commitment to delivering the very best RHS Malvern Spring Festival for the visitors to enjoy. Also for our Three Counties Centre to be Highly Commended as a Conference Venue is a significant achievement and we were in such great company too. All in all 2016 has been a fantastic year for the Three Counties and we’re looking forward to welcoming more visitors to the Three Counties Showground this weekend for the much loved Malvern Autumn Show.”
RHS Malvern Spring Festival now goes forward to the 2017 Visit England Awards for Excellence held next year.
