MALVERN AUTUMN SHOW IS DELIGHTED TO ANNOUNCE THE CONTINUED PARTNERSHIP WITH WESTONS CIDER VISITORS CENTRE, WHICH RETURNS AS HEADLINE SPONSOR FOR THE SECOND YEAR RUNNING.
The ultimate harvest festival takes place on Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 September at the Three Counties Showground. This year visitors can learn cookery skills with top TV chef Tom Kerridge, seek gardening advice from BBC Gardeners’ World expert Carol Klein and immerse themselves in all things ballroom with BBC Strictly Come Dancing star Anton Du Beke.
Westons Cider Visitor Centre will once again host the Westons Cider Garden, the perfect place to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the show. The partnership between Westons Cider Visitor Centre and Malvern Autumn Show is a strong platform for Westons to continue its mission of giving back to the local community and celebrating a joint heritage with the Three Counties that goes back decades.
Nestled amongst acres of apple and perry pear orchards, the Westons Cider Visitor Centre provides a truly unique day out in the Herefordshire countryside. Visitors can learn about the journey of the cider apple from harvest to bottling, enjoy a selection of delicious homemade meals in the Scrumpy House Restaurant and explore the magnificent cider bottle collections – which is proudly one of the largest in the world.
Ken Nottage, Chief Executive of the Three Counties said: “We are absolutely delighted to strengthen the continued relationship with Westons Cider Visitor Centre. Westons community ethos and heritage aligns perfectly with our work at Three Counties where we are striving to showcase innovation and excellence and to support local and national industries.”
Helen Thomas, Managing Director of Westons Cider said: “To be involved with a show that celebrates the localities’ fantastic food and drink producers is a perfect fit for us. Aside from our own orchards, we source all of our apples and pears for our ciders from the Three Counties, which is really important for the rural economy. The Three Counties Autumn Show is a true celebration of our heartland and we look forward to being there.”
